Delicious Chibundiro Omena

This simple but delicious recipe is a must try! With Chibundiro spices, you dont have to do much to get that irresistible flavour


  1. Omena
  2. 1 Onion
  3. 1 capsicum (hoho)
  4. 2 tomatoes
  5. Chibundiro (hot)


  1. Thoroughly wash your omena with warm water and keep aside
  2. Chop the onion, capsicum and tomatoes (all diced)
  3. Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in the pan for few minutes
  4. Add the omena and let it cook till it becomes brown
  5. Add the onion and cook for few minutes
  6. Add the capsicum
  7. After few minutes, add tomatoes and cover to let them mash
  8. Once they are fully mashed, add your dhania
  9. When it’s fully cooked, add hot chili Chibundiro to spice it up
