Chibundiro Meatballs

This simple recipe will turn ordinary meatballs into an extraordinary meal with our all-purpose Chibundiro seasoning. You already know it’s a flavor explosion!


  • 600g Ground beef
  • 4 chopped/minced Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of Chibundiro Hot Chillies seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon of salt (Adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • Half a cup of breadcrumbs
  • Half a cup of cheese (preferrably parmasean)
  • Homemade tomato sauce/gravy


  1. Put your ground beef into a bowl
  2. Place in the garlic, coriander, Chibundiro Hot Chillies, salt, black pepper, 3 eggs, bread crumbs and parmasean cheese. Combine the mixture gently but thoroughly until all ingredients merge
  3. Roll up the mixture into balls (depending on what size you prefer)
  4. On a heated pan, drizzle the 2 tablespoons of cooking oil ad place your meatballs
  5. Cook them for 15 minutes, checking regularly. make sure you shake or move them around occasionally to prevent them from sticking to the pan
  6. After 15 mintues, place the meatballs into your boiling homemade tomato sauce and stir.
  7. Let them sit for 2-3 mintues then remove from heat.
  8. Serve in a sandwich or over spaghetti. Don’t forget to sprikle some chibundiro on top for that extra razzle dazzle and enjoy!
